I think it’s the time to see day by day all the shows and the hot trends for the SS 2016. NYFW never sleeps
After Tom Ford, the Kanye West collection for the Yeezy,Rihanna’s collection for Puma and Kardashian’s party the NYFW started officially on Thursday Sep 8, with the show of Nicholas Studio.
The Sahara desert, a landscape that echoes their childhood surroundings, inspired this season’s collection. Nicholas hearkened back to a long road trip she took to Morocco right after resigning from corporate America. Looking back, she found a series of landscape photographs that she had never used. From this came an interest in female explorers in the late 1800s and early 1900s, especially the Swiss adventurer Isabelle Eberhardt, who followed her half-brother to North Africa and disguised herself as a boy to travel through Algeria.
The next was Marissa Web, which designed outfits with a vintage touch at shirts and skirts, using pastel colours and of course we saw the basic suit (Androgyne look) with a baby pink colour that never goes out of style.
Supima showed evening dressy collection.Some students from different Fashion Design Universities had to make nice designs to win the competition as the best design.

To the other side the shows at NY city continued with many styles and designs from Desigual that showed summer outfits as at the same time Cyntia Rowley and Consept Korea showed their Spring collection with new 60s and 70s designs. In the end of 1st day NYFW Kids Rock hit the runway with their street dance showing their Levi’s new collection!!
