Every woman in this world loves perfumes and I am not an exception. Ever since I can remember, I always found myself in my mum’s boudoir trying her perfumes. I was so fascinated by the smell, the shape and colours of the bottles and finally the sense of the perfume touching my skin.

My perfume of choice is and always will be Dolce & Gabbana Pour Femme Intense. Sweet, light, not too strong in a projection sense, but certainly detectable by others. I always get lots of compliments when I wear this one, and more importantly I always feel happy when I wear it.

The most important part is to wear your perfume with confidence, create your own signature scent. That’s why Pour Femme Intense is my Holy Grail. It exudes mystery and passion, something internal. Like every strong and independent, but also sweet and passionate woman should be.

When you apply the perfume you get a strong neroli note with light raspberry, rounded off with a quite sour yet interesting greenish tangerine accent, yet this quickly opens to the heart of orange blossom and jasmine, to quite equal parts I’d say, while the sour-frouty opening note is still there. Add to this only another minute later the emergence of a prominent yet not distracting presence of vanilla and marshmallow, which in the drydown is complemented and rounded by a smooth and warm sandalwood base.

There is a reason that Dolce & Gabbana call it a “fine-tuning” of the original that was launched in 1992.
